Service Delivery Policy
How and when digital services are delivered, what you receive, and what happens if a delivery is delayed or cannot be completed.
Last updated 5 September 2026
The four things to know.
No physical goods, no shipping, no customs or courier charges.
Not at enquiry, and not at payment alone.
Larger builds follow the timeline written in their scope.
With the reason and a revised date, before the original date passes.
What is delivered
Mindmap IT Solutions supplies digital services only: websites, online stores, search optimisation, written content, campaign set-up, brand identity files, hosting configuration, analytics set-up and site audits. No physical goods are sold, packed or shipped, so no courier, tracking number, customs declaration or shipping charge applies to any order. Every deliverable is transferred electronically.
How delivery happens
Work is delivered over the internet in the form the project calls for: a website published to your hosting and domain, a staging link for review, files sent by email or a shared drive, and administrator credentials issued to your own accounts. Design and source files are supplied in their native formats along with exports. Nothing requires a physical address to receive.
When the delivery clock starts
The delivery period begins when two things have been received: payment in full for the agreed scope, and every item of content, imagery, brand material and account access listed in that scope. It does not begin at first contact, at the quote, or at payment alone. This is stated in each scope so the start date is never in dispute.
Standard delivery times
Standard website projects target delivery within 24 to 48 hours of that start point. Landing pages are usually same day to 48 hours; WordPress builds with content migration 2 to 5 business days; online stores of up to 25 products 5 to 10 business days, subject to your payment gateway's own approval; SEO set-up for up to 10 pages 3 to 7 business days; brand identity 5 to 10 business days including two revision rounds. Custom applications, integrations and larger builds are quoted individually and carry their own written timeline.
Timelines are targets, and how they are protected
Every timeline above is a target planned around, not a guarantee. The timeline that applies to you is the one written in your scope before you pay. If a project will not meet the date in its scope, we tell you in writing before that date passes, with the reason and a revised date. We do not let a deadline lapse silently.
What you need to provide
Delivery depends on you supplying, at the point of payment, the content and page text (or ordering content writing as part of the scope), images and brand files you hold the rights to, access to your domain registrar and hosting, and access to any third-party accounts the scope names. During review, decisions and approvals are needed within the time the scope states. Delay in any of these moves the delivery date by at least the same amount, and we confirm the new date in writing.
Review and acceptance
Work is presented for review, on a staging link where the project allows it. You raise change requests within the scope agreed. A project is treated as delivered and accepted when you approve it in writing, or when 10 days pass after delivery without a written change request.
What is transferred at completion
At completion you receive the finished work in place, administrator credentials, source files, design files and any project assets listed in the scope, plus a short written hand-over describing what was built, where it lives and how to edit it. Full ownership of the deliverables passes to you at that point. Domains, hosting, payment gateways and advertising accounts are created in your name from the start, so nothing needs to be transferred out of ours.
After delivery
Every project includes 30 days of defect correction from the delivery date. If something we built does not work as described in the scope, we correct it at no cost within that period. New features, content changes, changes of mind and third-party platform updates are quoted separately as fixed-price work. There is no maintenance retainer and no recurring charge of any kind.
If delivery cannot be completed
If a project cannot be delivered — because required materials never arrive, because a third-party platform blocks it, or for any reason on our side — we set out the position in writing and the Refund and Cancellation Policy determines what is returned. Where the cause is on our side and no usable work has been delivered, the payment is refunded in full.
Cross-border delivery
Clients are located principally in Canada and the United States and the work is delivered from our office in Punjab, India. Because delivery is electronic, there are no import duties, customs formalities, delivery charges or geographic restrictions on receiving the work. Invoicing is available in CAD or USD.
